Synopsis
September 11, 2001. All eyes focused on New York's twin towers. The tragic events of that day marked not only the dawn of a new century, but the rise of a destructive new force in international politics. This film explores the roots of these attacks by tracing the rise of the terrorist group al Qaeda in over two decades of troubled relations between Washington, Arab nations, Pakistan and Europe.
