Synopsis
A visually stunning and emotionally stirring documentary set in the tiny village of Laya, nestled deep in the Himalayan mountainside in remote Bhutan (one of the last known parts of the world to be connected to electricity, television or internet). "Happiness" tracks the bittersweet transition as an innocent, simpler lifestyle slowly fades to the seduction of technology and 'progress'.
