Synopsis
Alfonso Cuarón’s stunning, meticulously realized science-fiction epic envisages a future world that has fallen into anarchy in the wake of an infertility epidemic that has made humankind face the likelihood of its own extinction. Set against the backdrop of a dystopian London torn apart by violence, CHILDREN OF MEN follows an unlikely champion of Earth’s survival: Theo (Clive Owen), a disillusioned ex-activist turned bureaucrat, who is forced to face his own demons in order to protect the planet’s last remaining hope for a future generation.
